Middletown Hill Race (THE Border Raid)
Middletown Hill Race is a short fell race scheduled for 29 July 2026 in Middletown. The course covers 2.8 km with approximately 440 metres of total ascent and is categorised AS.
The route features a steep, sustained climb from the start with little flat or downhill relief. The organiser describes the course as firmly within fell-running terrain and aimed at participants prepared for steep uphill running.
Entry is offered as pre-entry and on-the-day. Pre-entry fee is £7 via SI Entries and the on-the-day fee is £10. Race registration takes place at the Breiddens Inn, Middletown, SY21 8EL.
Junior races form part of the event as with other races in the summer series.
