About Jan Fryc
Jan Fryc was a passionate sportsman who excelled in cycling, marathon running, and mountaineering. His notable running achievements include winning the Neujahrsmarathon Zürich 2013 and achieving a second-place finish in his category at the Gletschermarathon Pitztal-Imst. His personal bests include a marathon time of 2:40:33, a half-marathon time of 1:16:06, and a 10 km time of 35:00. Tragically, Jan passed away in the summer of 2016 during a mountaineering ascent of Monte Cervino (Matterhorn). This race is organized annually in his memory.
