Mauerweglauf Berlin - 100 Meilen Berlin
Since 2011, the Mauerweglauf commemorates the victims of the former border that divided Germany between 1961 and 1989. The race covers a distance of slightly over 161 kilometers around West Berlin, following the former border strip. The event is under the patronage of former GDR civil rights activist Rainer Eppelmann.
