Maratonina della Nuova Florida
The Maratonina della Nuova Florida is returning to Nuova Florida for its 20th edition on Saturday, June 27, 2026. This event, organized by the cultural association Atlantis and Polisportiva Nuova Florida, combines sport, participation, and community spirit, attracting athletes and enthusiasts from all over the coast each year.
The gathering is set for 4:00 PM in Largo Milano, at the corner of Via Modena, with the official start of the competitive race at 6:00 PM. The course will wind through a 9.6-kilometer city circuit, to be repeated twice, with timing and official rankings recorded thanks to registration with FIDAL Lazio, which certifies the event's competitive value. Athletes regularly registered for the current year can participate, following the rules and regulations, in a race that combines competition and popular participation.
The organization has provided refreshment points along the route and at the finish line, as well as medical assistance guaranteed by an ambulance equipped with a defibrillator for the safety of participants. The Maratonina della Nuova Florida thus confirms itself not only as a sporting event but also as a moment of aggregation for the territory, capable of promoting sport as a tool for sociality and collective well-being.
