M2M Road Mile @ Shim's
The event features one mile road races organized by Mile2Marathon in partnership with Shim's Race during the Shim's Cycling Grandprix in Vancouver on July 4, 2026. Racing takes place on a closed road course of about two laps.
There are two separate races: one for men and non-binary athletes and one for women and non-binary athletes. Prize money is awarded to the top three finishers in each race in amounts of $225, $125 and $50. A $100 bonus prime is offered at a point roughly halfway through the race. No pacers are permitted for these races. Draw prizes will also be distributed.
Registration is priced at $25 CAD per entrant. The regular registration deadline is July 2, 2026 at 11:59 pm Eastern Time. Payments are accepted online and a small processing fee applies. At the time of confirmation six registrants are listed and one club is recorded as participating.
Onsite activities the same day include the cycling races and food and beer trucks. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
