Lowestoft 10k: 'The UK's most Easterly Race'
Welcome to the second edition of the Lowestoft 10k, taking place on Sunday, 14th June 2026. This community event is organised by Lowestoft Town Council and is suitable for all fitness levels, encouraging both runners and walkers.
The Route
- A 10k multi-terrain route consisting of two 5k laps.
- Very flat course, ideal for achieving a personal best.
- The course runs through areas including the North Denes, parts of Lowestoft's Sea Wall, Ness Park, and Ness Point.
- Surfaces include pavements and trail paths.
- Accurately measured by a UKA-affiliated course measurer and fully marshaled and signposted.
Facilities & Logistics
- No bag drop or changing facilities.
- Toilets available at Race HQ, around the 5k point, and nearby public toilets (Denes Oval & Sparrows Nest).
- Water stations located around 5k and at Race HQ.
- First Aid services will be present at Race HQ and on-course.
Race Day Info
- Race Numbers will be posted in advance and include chip timing. Please complete emergency details on the back and bring your own safety pins.
- In-ear headphones are strictly prohibited. Bone conduction headphones are permitted if you can hear marshal instructions.
- Not Permitted: No pets, wheelchairs, or prams allowed on the course.

- All finishers will receive a medal and drawstring bag with freebies.
- Merchandise is available to purchase through East Point Sports.
Transport
- Parking available at Whapload Road and Links Road car park.
- Bike racks are provided at Race HQ.
- Local bus routes provide access close to Race HQ.
