Loughshannagh Horseshoe
The Loughshannagh Horseshoe is a mountain race in the Hills and Dales series, organised by Newcastle AC. The course covers 8 km with a total climb of 800 m on open mountain terrain. The route is run anti-clockwise and is not waymarked.

Start Time: 7:30 PM
Registration: 6:30 PM - 7:15 PM
Presentation: 9:30 PM at Mary Margaret’s Hilltown Road
Participants must be at least 15 years old on or before 1 January 2026. The race numbers must be attached to the chest.
Kit Requirements: Full body cover must be carried. Runners who fail the kit check at the finish may be disqualified.
Entry Fees: £12 for affiliated runners and £14 for unaffiliated runners.
