Lorsbacher Winterlauf- und Walkingserie
The 56th Lorsbacher Winterlauf- und Walkingserie 2025/26 is an annual running series held in Kelkheim (Taunus). The series starts on the first Advent, November 30, 2025, with subsequent dates on December 14, 2025, January 11, 2026, January 25, 2026, and February 8, 2026.
About the Race
The event offers a challenging yet varied course. The 10 km route is permanently signposted, and an additional loop for the 20 km route is marked from late November to mid-February. GPS tracks via Komoot are also available.
From 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on the specified dates, participants can enjoy tea near the Waldparkplatz Bahai'i. Participants are requested to bring their own foldable cups. Changing rooms at the Sporthalle am Schinderwald will be open from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM on these Sundays. Coffee and cookies will be served in the sports hall after the run.
There is no participation fee, but voluntary donations are welcome at the tea station and in the sports hall. On the last date, February 8th, soup, wheat beer, coffee, and cake will be served.

Start
Starts from 8:00 AM at the Sporthalle am Schinderwald in Hofheim-Lorsbach, Bornstraße 77. Participation is individual, with no timekeeping. You can participate in the entire series or individual events.

By train: S2 to Hofheim-Lorsbach station (3-minute walk to the sports hall).
By car: Parking available at Sportplatz „Am Schinderwald“ or the Park & Ride lot at the Lorsbach train station (Am Bahnhof, 65719 Hofheim-Lorsbach), a 3-minute walk to the venue.
