Loop Door de Bomen
On Saturday, October 10, 2026, you can literally 'run through the trees' in the Pijnven nature reserve (part of National Park Bosland). For this third edition, you can participate in the 6, 10, 16, 21, or 28 km through the beautiful area of 'cycling through the trees'. In the autumnal month of October, you will run through a beautiful forest area with all its splendor.
Additionally, there is a unique family run and walk of 3 km that guides you over the forest dwellers route with all the wooden animals and sounds. Children will learn to know the inhabitants of the forest better.
Unique to this event? On the bike path at the end of your run or walk, you will safely reach higher spheres. Literally, because via a double circle you run all the way between the treetops, up to ten meters high!

Canitrailers are welcome provided the dog is on a leash and they start at the back.
Program Loop door de Bomen 10/10:
- From 12:15 PM: pick up start numbers
- 1:15 PM: start 28 km trailrun
- 1:45 PM: start 21 km trailrun
- 2:00 PM: start 16 km trailrun
- 2:15 PM: start 10 km trailrun
- 2:45 PM: start 6 km & 3 km family trailrun
- 4:45 PM: finish limit all runners
Distances and prices:
- 3 km: €8 (Children under 12 years €4!)
- 6 km: €12 (Children under 12 years €6!)
- 10 km: €17
- 16 km: €21
- 21 km: €25
- 28 km: €29
€3 per participant goes to Natuur & Bos for the maintenance of the domains. Medal for all participants (including walkers)! Register before September 1st, because after that the prices will increase by €2! If you would like a personalized start number with your name, register before Wednesday evening, September 30th, 11:59 PM. Pre-registrations close on Thursday, October 8th at 11:59 PM. On-site registrations are possible while supplies last, sold out before the event last year!
Location & practical information
Parking: Parking Bosland Pijnven. Sufficient free parking is available, but partly also on meadows (please take this into account): Follow the signage and instructions of the parking attendants. Green arrows indicate the route for the parking (!). If possible, come by bike. Try to carpool when possible.
