Looe Summer Run 2026
The Looe Summer Run is a multi-terrain road and trail event covering a distance of 5.75 miles. The course starts and finishes at the Millpool Centre in West Looe, opposite the Millpool car park. The route follows the West Looe riverside, continues through Kilminorth Woods along the upper bridle path to Trelawne Woods for approximately 3 miles. It then descends towards the Looe Estuary and returns along the bottom path of the woods to the finish. The views and scenery are fantastic and not to be missed.
This event, now in its 4th year, is organized by Looe Lions Club and takes place on a Tuesday evening. Entries open on March 24th and close on July 26th. The entry fee is £12.50, and participants must be 14 years or older on the event date. On-the-day entries may be permitted at the organizer's discretion. All profits are donated to Looe Lions local charities.
The course is described as mild multi-terrain and has not been professionally measured. A perpetual Challenge Cup is awarded to the first club whose first four runners cross the finish line. Prizes are available for the first male and first female overall, and for the first Looe male and female. There will be no age category prizes to maximize profits for the Lions' charities.
Please note that there will be no changing facilities or bag drop available. Participants should park at the Millpool Carpark and make their way to the Millpool Centre for race number collection and to see the start line. Road closure has been applied for the start and finish areas.
All finishers will receive a memento. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
