Brindley Beach Vacations Presents The Lighthouse 5k Series
Lace up your running shoes and see the sights! The Lighthouse 5k Series and 1 Mile Race celebrates its 16th annual running. Join us for a fun, family-friendly event that combines fitness with a tour of the historic attractions of the Northern beaches of the Outer Banks.
Date: Wednesdays, Summer 2026 (August 12, 2026) Time: Race starts at 8:00 AM. Walk-up registration and packet pickup/check-in available race morning from 6:50 - 7:50 AM.
Location: The Whalehead Club, Historic Corolla Park, 1100 Club Rd, Corolla, NC 27927.

- 5k Run/Walk
- 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
Registration & Pricing:
- Adults: $45.00
- Youth (17 & under): $40.00
- Walk-up registration is accepted.
All entries include an event t-shirt, a finisher medallion, and chip timing. Awards will be given to the Top 3 Male/Female overall, 1st place Masters M/F (over 40), and 1st place Youth M/F (14 & under).
This event is walker and stroller friendly. Service dogs are allowed; no other pets, please. Each event assists local charities.
