Started in 2011, the R(un) for One 5K is a family-friendly annual event where Lifeline Children’s Services' alumni families, friends, advocates, and community partners gather to raise awareness and support for vulnerable children around the world. On Saturday, August 29th, runners from across the country will lace up for this life-changing cause.
Whether you join us in Birmingham, AL or choose to Run Where You Are, your miles matter! In Birmingham, the race takes place at Veterans Park, featuring bounce houses, food trucks, face painting, and activities for the whole family. Prefer to run virtually? You can participate from your neighborhood or treadmill, wherever you are!
Schedule:
- 7:00 AM: Registration and Vendor Booths open
- 8:00 AM: 5K begins
- 8:45 AM: Fun Run begins
- 9:45 AM: Awards
- 10:00 AM: Family Festival
