43. Leipziger Triathlon

Location: Kulkwitzer See, Leipzig, Germany
Welcome to the most traditional and largest triathlon event in Germany! We are excited to host the 43rd edition of the Leipziger Triathlon in 2026, one of the most traditional and popular sports events in our region. Annually, over 1,400 athletes and numerous spectators participate, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.
Our event offers diverse distances:
- Olympischer Triathlon: Classic Olympic distance, available for individuals and teams (staffel).
- Fitnesstriathlon: Fitness distance, also available for individuals and teams (staffel).
- Jugendtriathlon: For younger participants.
The swimming leg takes place in the crystal-clear waters of Kulkwitzer See, one of the cleanest lakes in Germany. Our courses include a fully closed cycling route and a varied running route along the lake. The support of numerous spectators creates a unique atmosphere and makes this triathlon a special experience.

- 14:00 – 14:45: Check-in Youth Triathlon
- 15:00: Start Youth Triathlon
- 16:15: Award ceremony Youth Triathlon
Sunday, July 26, 2026
- 08:00 – 14:45: Registration, collection of start documents
- 08:00 – 09:45: Check-in Olympic Triathlon / Staffel
- 10:00 – 16:00: Triathlon fair
- from 10:00: Wave start Olympic Triathlon / Staffel
- 13:00: Award ceremony Olympic Triathlon
- 13:00 - 14:45: Check-in Fitness Triathlon / Staffel
- from 15:00: Start Fitness Triathlon
Note: Registration for Fitness (Individual & Staffel) and Olympic (Individual & Staffel) is closed. There are still a few open starting places for the Youth Triathlon (July 25th)!
