Langdale Christmas Pudding Run 10K
A festive 10k in the beautiful Langdale Valley with a FREE Christmas Pudding to take home afterwards. Fancy dress is optional but very much encouraged, with prizes for our favourite outfits! Some of you may be out for a fun time but expect stiff competition from club runners at the front with the first finishers expected back between 32 & 35 minutes.
The route uses open Lakeland roads with volunteer marshals and warning signs. Runners should stay left, run no more than two abreast and give way to traffic at junctions. Advanced life support medics and radio communications will be on site. No over ear or in ear headphones are allowed; bone conducting headphones are permitted. Dogs, spitting and snot rockets are not permitted on the course.
A water station is located at 5.6 km and will offer water plus mulled wine for over 18s. Participants are asked to be self-sufficient with fluids or bring a reusable cup as cups will not be supplied at the station. Facilities include portable toilets, baggage storage and food and drink available from the New Dungeon Ghyll Hotel.
