The Lakou Backyard Ultra is part of the River’s Edge Running Series which aims to raise funds for Olive Tree Projects, a non-profit in Haiti. This unique ultra is run entirely by volunteers and is held in the backyard of the race director's home. Each lap, known as a "yard," must start precisely on the hour and be completed within the hour. Registration fees are CA$160.00 and the event is set to make a meaningful impact in supporting a good cause.
