Ladiesfest 8K Run – Saturday June 13th, 2026
The Ladiesfest 8K run/walk is a ladies only event established in 2000 and designed to bring women of all ages together for a day of fitness, wellness, and community. The run/walk allows women to challenge themselves by walking, jogging or running an 8k course.
The Cause
All proceeds from the 2026 Ladiesfest 8K run will be donated to Womanspace: a resource centre serving women in Lethbridge and area in various capacities over the last 30 years.
Course
The 8K event is on June 13th at 8 AM (MT). The event starts at the Sandman Signature Lethbridge Lodge with the course heading down into the river valley and finishing back at the same location. All participants will be treated to a buffet breakfast in the ballroom of the Sandman Signature Lethbridge Lodge while the awards ceremony is held.
There will be a 1hour 45 minute cutoff. STROLLERS please note there are a number of steps on the final stretch of shale pathway coming off Whoop up behind the Galt Museum.
Registration
The registration fee is $42.00 for 16 & over, $36.50 for 15 & under (online fees included). Registration includes entry into the 8K run as well as a buffet breakfast in the ballroom of the Sandman Signature Lethbridge Lodge.
Optional shirts are available for an additional $16.50 (2XL- $18.50 & 3XL – $19.50). Shirts are polyester and sized specifically for women. A sizing chart is available here. Deadline to order a shirt is May 24th @ 11:59pm
Extra buffet breakfast tickets are available for $20.00

Awards
Awards are provided to the top 3 overall, the top 3 in each age group and to the 1st place team in each of the Mother-Daughter, Sister-Sister, and Sisterhood divisions.
Age Categories
9&Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
Mother-Daughter, Sister-Sister, and Sister-Hood (not related but are like sisters) Team Categories are available (2 or more per team). Participants can run in both the age group and team categories. Team category times are averaged based on each team members time. Results will be provided by Sprintline Timing.
Training
Zephyrs Coaching is offering a 6 week clinic to help prepare you for this year’s race! The 6 week program runs from May 5 to June 9 at the Civic centre track. The cost is $45 (registration link).
