About the Race
The La Course du Bois du Cazier will take place in Charleroi on Sunday 4 October 2026. You can run between 6 and 16 kilometers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
An historic run: starting from the UNESCO-listed Bois du Cazier site, the routes combine slag heaps, wooded paths, and breathtaking views of Charleroi. On the program: a mix of trail and road running through the districts of Marcinelle.
Distances and Times
KidsRun (500m): Start at 10:00 AM. For children aged 4 to 12, focusing on participation and fun.
Kids Run (1km): Start at 10:00 AM. For children aged 4 to 12, focusing on participation and fun.
Race (5km): Start at 10:30 AM.
Race (10km): Start at 10:30 AM.
Registration and Bibs
Online registration available until the day before (October 11th at 11:59 PM).
On-site registration available on the day of the event from 09:00 AM.
Bib collection: At TRAKKS Gosselies or on-site on the day of the event with your registration QR Code.
Your registration includes:
- For 5km and 10km: Bib, electronic chip timing, one or two intermediate aid stations, quality aid station at the finish, participation in the lottery, and a medal.
- For Kids Run: Bib, a snack at the finish, and a medal.
Note: Changing rooms and a cloakroom service are available on site. The organization declines all responsibility in case of theft or loss. We advise against bringing valuables.
