Kulmbach Spartan Weekend 2026
Spartan Race, the world's largest series of obstacle races, is returning to Kulmbach! With over 200 events in 40 countries, Spartan has been thrilling participants for years with challenging obstacles such as hills, mud, water and fire.
This course offers a dynamic blend of urban streets and serene forest trails, providing participants with a diverse and exhilarating racing experience. The start line kicks off on cobblestone streets of a vibrant Bavarian market scene of Kulmbach.
Races:
- Sprint: 5K with 20 Obstacles
- Super: 10K with 25 Obstacles
- Beast: 21K (Half Marathon) with 30 Obstacles
- Kids Race: 1-3K+ Obstacles (distances of 800 m, 1,600 m and 3,200 m for children aged between 4 and 13)
- Hurricane Heat: 4 hour event
Trifecta Weekend
Complete a Sprint, Super, and Beast in one weekend to conquer Spartan's ultimate challenge. Trifecta participants will receive an exclusive Kulmbach Trifecta Weekend medal and their name in the Spartan Lifetime Trifecta Ranking.
Spartan Workout Tour
The Spartan Workout Tour is a FREE introductory training session with an experienced Spartan Coach. It is a 90-minute bodyweight workout specifically for Spartan 'beginners'. Everyone gets a FREE t-shirt and an insight into the Spartan community.
