Kokořínský Kros
The Kokořínský Kros will take place in Mšeno on Sunday, September 13, 2026. The start and the entire support area will be at the municipal baths (swimming pool) in Mšeno.
Race Distances and Characteristics:
- Long Route: approx. 15 km with an elevation gain of approx. 380 m.
- Short Route: approx. 10 km with an elevation gain of approx. 280 m.
- Sprint Route: 5 km (for those who want to run for fun, are beginners, or don't feel like a longer run today).
- Children's Races: 200 – 1500 m depending on the category.
Note: You can change your race distance on the day of the event during registration at the venue.
Race Day Program:
- 08:30–09:30: Registration for unregistered participants and children
- 09:00–10:00: Check-in for registered participants
- Until 12:00: Check-in + registration for CHILDREN'S RACES
- 11:00: Start of the LONG route – 15 km
- 11:10: Start of the SHORT route – 10 km
- 11:20: Start of the SPRINT route – 5 km
- 12:00–14:00: Finish line celebrations, enjoying the race completion, beer, swimming…
- 13:00–14:00: Gradual start of children's and junior categories
- Approx. 14:15: Awarding of results (immediately after the finish of children's categories)
Start Number with Name: Register by Sunday, September 6, 2026, to have your name or nickname on your start number.
Children's Corner:
During the race, a children's corner will be available for children aged three to 10. Art supplies will be provided. A symbolic fee of 50 Kč is payable on site.
Facilities:
Ample toilets at the start/finish area. The swimming pool in the finish area will be open, and the Harasov swimming pond is also nearby.
Refreshments:
Finish line refreshment station with Corny bars and bananas, water, and Ionilyte isotonic drink. A refreshment stand will also be available within the swimming pool area.
Getting There:
By car: 50 km from the center of Prague (50 minutes). Parking is available in a designated lot approximately 200 m from the race facilities.
