Kodiak Mountain Series - June 18 - 20, 2026
This 3-day stage race challenges participants with steep single-track trails and significant elevation gain, offering breathtaking views of surrounding peaks and potential whale sightings. Results are determined by the cumulative time across all three races in Men's, Women's, and Teams categories. A King of the Mountain (KOM) award is also given for the fastest ascent in each race.
Stage 1 - Heitman Mountain: 5.91 miles with 2,238ft of gain. A one-way course with a quick ascent and ridge fun, followed by a fast descent past Heitman Lake.
Stage 2 - Sharatin Mountain: 7.76 miles with 2,777ft of gain. This course starts on single track, quickly entering the alpine with rocky terrain. It features quick running across shale before descending towards Shelly Lake and a final climb to the finish.
Stage 3 - Pyramid Mountain Loop: 5 miles with 2,138ft of gain. A loop course starting with single track up Pyramid Mountain, featuring clear flagging to guide participants. The descent involves a ridge traverse before returning to single track and a final road section to the finish.
