Kapellekensloop – June 13, 2026
The Kapellekensloop will take place in Hoogstraten on Saturday, June 13, 2026. This event offers multiple running distances for all ages.
Program:
- 1:30 PM: 100m – Toddlers 2022 and later
- 1:40 PM: 100m – Toddlers 2021
- 1:50 PM: 100m – Toddlers 2020
- 2:00 PM: 400m – Children 2018-2019
- 2:10 PM: 600m – Children 2016-2017
- 2:20 PM: 800m – Children 2014-2015
- 2:30 PM: Youth award ceremony
- 4:00 PM: 2.5km (Run4Fun) and 5km (jogging / Run4Fun)
- 5:00 PM: 10km (jogging / Run4Fun)
Course:
The adult jogging course consists of multiple 2.5km laps. The start is in the Markwijk, and the finish is at the small playground of the primary school. The course passes the OLV chapel, 't Withof castle, and the restored water mill. The course includes 2 short gravel sections: the old footpath along 't Withof and the new walking path around the water mill. Water is provided per lap.
Changing rooms / Showers:
Changing rooms and showers are available in the sports hall of the primary school.
Registration:
- Children's jogging: €3.50. Registration possible from 12:30 PM until 15 minutes before the start.
- Run4Fun (2.5 – 5 – 10km): €6 (Raak members €4). Registration possible from 1:00 PM until half an hour before the start.
- Jogging with timing (5 – 10km): €7 (Raak members €5). Registration possible from 1:00 PM until half an hour before the start.
Prizes:
- Children's jogging: Every participating child receives a medal and a candy bag. The first 3 in each category (boys/girls) receive a trophy.
- Jogging and Run4Fun: Delicious cherry tomatoes for every participant. Cash prizes and medals for the first 3 men and first 3 women in the 5km and 10km jogging races.
