Josef-Kaderhandt Waldlauf
The Marathon-Club Menden proudly presents the 42nd edition of the Josef-Kaderhandt Waldlauf in 2026. Participants can choose from various distances, including a 20 KM Waldlauf, with options to extend up to an Ultra run of 50 KM. We look forward to welcoming you to a beautiful and challenging running course in the Sauerland region.

Race Distances and Categories
- 20 km Waldlauf / 20 km Waldlauf Plus (up to 50 km Ultra): 3 rounds, with options to add more rounds for 26 km, 32 km, 38 km, 44 km, and 50 km.
- 7.8 km Jedermannlauf: A single round for all participants.

- 14:30 Uhr: 7.8 km Jedermannlauf
- 17:00 Uhr: Zielschluss (Finish line closure) for 20 km Plus Waldlauf
Course Information
The course features paved forest paths, offering a scenic and demanding route through the Sauerland region. Start is at Waldemei Menden, and the finish is at Bürgerbad Leitmecke (NEW location).
Awards
- 20 km Waldlauf: Trophies for the top three men and women overall.
- 20 km Waldlauf Plus: Trophies for the top men and women in each round category (26 km, 32 km, 38 km, 44 km, and 50 km).
- Jedermannlauf: Trophies for the top three men and women overall.

Early Registration Deadline: August 12, 2026, online at www.menden-waldlauf.de.
Fees:
- Waldlauf (20 km and 20 km Plus): €20
- Waldlauf (20 km and 20 km Plus, Students): €7
- Jedermannlauf (7.8 km): €10
- Jedermannlauf (7.8 km, Students): €5
Late Registration: Possible if the participant limit of 300 per run is not reached. Fees will be slightly higher.
Payment: Direct debit or PayPal for online registration; cash for late registration.
