Course Description
- Approximately 50K with 19,000 ft of elevation gain.
- Summit several peaks surrounding Silverton.
- Unmarked course with GPS track provided.
- Mostly off-trail terrain.
- 19 hour time limit for completion.
Requirements
This event is open only to qualified participants with suitable mountain experience. Registrants must be members of the Sky Pilots Endurance Navigators. Evidence of appropriate experience is necessary for acceptance into the event.
Safety Notice
Participants must be prepared for challenging conditions common to the San Juan Mountains. Limited support is available, and self-reliance is essential. Proper gear, including potential ice axes and traction devices, may be required depending on conditions.
