Jogging des Fous - Liège, September 4, 2026
The 14th edition of the Jogging des Fous kicks off the Friday evening of the Fête des Fous. This event offers three distances for all levels, mini-races for the youngest participants, and a course winding through the hills of Sainte-Walburge, culminating under a big top.
Distances and Pricing
- 10 KM: €7 - Starts at 19:00. A hilly course for the gourmands.
- 5 KM: €6 - Starts at 19:10. An accessible course for the epicureans.
- 2 KM: €3 - Starts at 19:20. A discovery course for the gastronomes.
Children's Races
Mini-courses for children: 400m and 800m, starting at 18:00.

- 17:30: Bib and t-shirt collection, on-site registration.
- 18:00: Children's races start.
- 18:45: Bib and registration deadline.
- 19:00: 10 km race start.
- 19:10: 5 km race start.
- 19:20: 2 km race start.
- 20:30 - 21:00: Award ceremony and costume contest prizes.
- 21:30: DJ party.
Course Information
The three main courses start from Rue Sainte-Walburge, go through the neighborhood, and wind through the green hills around Sainte-Walburge. Expect hilly terrain and rural landscapes just minutes from the city center.
Practical Information
- Bibs & T-shirts: Collection from 17:30 under the big top. Closes at 18:45.
- Showers & Changing Rooms: Available at the Hall de sport de Sainte-Walburge. Note: unattended facilities, organizer not responsible for theft.
- Safety: Courses are secured by police and volunteers. A mountain bike leads and closes the race.
- Access & Parking: Information available on the "Infos pratiques" page regarding public transport and recommended parking (P+R Vottem, Parking de la Citadelle). Bicycle parking is available.
The theme for 2026 is "Les Folies Gourmandes" (Gourmet Follies), including a costume contest.
