Jedburgh Running Festival
The Jedburgh Running Festival takes place on 25 October 2026 at Lothian Car Park, Jedburgh (TD8 6JQ). The festival includes separate road races over the following distances:
- Half Marathon road race
- 10K road race
Both races start on Abbey Place in front of Jedburgh Abbey, proceed through the town square and down the High Street, then follow sections of the A68 and A698. The half marathon continues east towards Kelso with a detour past Crailing church and a loop through Eckford before returning to Jedburgh. The 10K follows the same outward route to a 5K turnaround, then returns to a finish on the grass by the river opposite Queen Mary's house.
Water stations are provided on both courses. The half marathon has four stations at approximately 3, 6, 8 and 10 miles. The 10K has stations at about 4.5 km and 5.5 km, which are passed again on the return leg; water and sweets are also available at the finish. All finishers receive a commemorative medal.
Race registration is in the Jed Thistle Pavilion from 09:00, where runners collect race numbers and timing chips. Tech T shirts are available for £13.50, last order 11 October. Standard entry fees listed are £33 for the half marathon (£31 for members) and £24 for the 10K (£22 for members). The half marathon entry limit is 1000, the 10K entry limit is 500.
