Jamaica Day Dash 2026
Brought to you by the Jamaica Community Arts Council and the Jamaica Run Club! Get a running start on the annual Jamaica Day celebration by joining our first Jamaica Day Dash! With a 5K and Kids Fun Run (0.5 miles) option, everybody in the family can participate. Both out-and-back races will start off at the Jamaica Village School, take runners down Depot Street and along the scenic trails in beautiful Jamaica State Park.
Kids Fun Run
Our free ½ mile Kids Fun Run is FREE and open to children ages 12 and under. This out-and-back course is designed for young runners of all abilities. Every participant will receive a ribbon, medal, or small prize for joining the fun!
5K Race
The Jamaica Day Dash 5K is a timed out-and-back course through Jamaica State Park. Runners will enter the park and continue along the West River Trail to the turn around point. Awards will be given to the overall top male, female, and non-binary finishers.

The Jamaica Day Dash is sponsored by the Jamaica Community Arts Council and Jamaica Run Club.
