Jacob's Ladder Challenge
When: Wednesday, September 16, 2026, 6:00 PM
Where: Redwood Shelter, Waco, TX
The Jacob's Ladder Challenge is a timed event where participants see how many loops they can complete in 30 minutes. The course starts and ends at the Redwood Shelter, with a 1K loop that includes an ascent up Jacob's Ladder and a 70 ft elevation change.
Your results will be based on the number of laps completed and your overall finish time after your last completed lap. Laps completed after the 30-minute time limit will not count. Timing equipment will be used to count laps.
There are no awards, only bragging rights for the Open and Masters age groups.
Water will be provided; participants may bring their own beverages (BYOB).
Registration:
This is a free event for current members of the Waco Striders Running Club. Pre-registration is required to assign bib numbers.
Bib Pick Up:
On-site registration and bib pick-up will be available from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Redwood Shelter.
