Inverclyde Leisure Sprint Distance Triathlon and Aquathlon
The event takes place on Sunday 23 August 2026 at Gourock Outdoor Pool & Fitness Gym, Albert Road, Gourock PA19 1NQ. It includes individual and team sprint triathlon races plus adult and junior aquathlon races. Heat and lane positions will be emailed to participants by Friday 21 August 2026.
Capacity and entry prices are stated for each event and entries close on Sunday 9 August 2026. Places are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis. Entry is at the competitor's own risk and participants with health concerns are advised to seek medical advice before taking part.
Race format and rules noted by the organiser include a 45 minute swim time cap; swimmers still in the pool at that time will be moved on to the next phase to allow the next heat to start. All cyclists must wear helmets. Membership discounts apply for One Life members who hold an active membership at registration and on the event day.

- Aquathlon Team event: Half Mile Swim (24 lengths), 5Km Run
- Adult Aquathlon Individual event: Half Mile Swim (24 lengths), 5Km Run
- Junior Aquathlon event: Quarter Mile Swim (12 lengths), 3Km Run

- ADULT AQUATHLON HEAT 1: Registration 9:15 AM, Briefing 9:45 AM, Start 10:15 AM
- ADULT AQUATHLON HEAT 2: Registration 10:00 AM, Briefing 10:30 AM, Start 11:00 AM
- ADULT AQUATHLON HEAT 3: Registration 10:45 AM, Briefing 11:15 AM, Start 11:45 AM
- ADULT AQUATHLON HEAT 4: Registration 11:30 AM, Briefing 12:00 PM, Start 12:30 PM
- JUNIOR AQUATHLON EVENT: Registration 12:15 PM, Briefing 12:45 PM, Start 1:15 PM
- PRIZE GIVING: 2:00 PM
