Indian Queens Half Marathon 2026
The Indian Queens Half Marathon is the 44th running of a community-organised half marathon held in Indian Queens, Cornwall. The event is organised by local volunteers and funds raised are shared between local groups and charities. The minimum age to compete is 17.
The course includes around 5 miles on the firm Goss Moor Trail and on country lanes. The total climb over the route is 140 metres. Trail sections can be muddy and uneven, sometimes with craters; road shoes are considered acceptable. Trail users may encounter cows, ponies, adders and ticks. The final 800 metres of the route are traffic free; the remainder is open to other users.
Race headquarters are in the youth club building on the Recreation Ground, St Francis Road. Facilities include on-site toilets and additional toilets nearby, no showers, changing at Victory Hall, mobile catering and a baggage facility. Parking is free at several marshalled and unmanned locations away from the Recreation Ground; parking is not available at the Recreation Ground itself.
Chip timing is used with gun to finish times for results; the main chip is worn on the ankle. Entries are subject to a three hour cut off time. The event follows Cornish Grand Prix award categories and issues medals and technical shirts in gender specific fit. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
