In It For The Long Run
Huntsville’s first 24-hour running event will be held at John Hunt Park! In traditional 24-hour format, participants may run continuously or take breaks as needed throughout the event. Runners are welcome to rest, refuel, socialize, or compete without stopping.
In addition to the 24-hour event, race options will include a 6-hour, 12-hour, Marathon, 50K, and 50-mile race. The goal of this event is to provide an inclusive environment where runners of all abilities can come together to run fast, run slow, and run long.

Course Details
The course features a rubberized surface loop approximately 1.7 miles in length, designed to be easy on the legs and ideal for distance events. The final loop distance for finishers will be announced prior to the race start.
Start Times
- 6:00 AM — 6 Hour, 12 Hour, 24 Hour, 50 Mile
- 7:00 AM — Marathon, 50K
- 6:00 PM — 5K, 10K, Half Marathon
Aid Station & Food
A fully stocked aid station will be available throughout the event, including: Fresh fruit, Energy gels, Hydration (including Coke products), Sandwiches, Candy. We’ll also have food trucks on site throughout the day. At various times, we’ll be serving hot food such as: Grilled cheese, Pancakes, And possibly burgers and pizza.
Awards
Awards will be presented to the top overall male and female finishers in each race category, including the 24-hour, 12-hour, 6-hour, Marathon, 50K, and 50-mile events. Special finishers awards for all. Top 3 Male & Female each event, Top 3 Male Masters & Female Masters each event, Over Team Award each event. No age group awards.
Camping
Overnight camping will be allowed on Saturday night. Personal tents and setups are welcome for those planning to stay for extended periods.
Registration Cap
This is a FREE event, and participation will be limited to 250 runners. Be sure to register early to secure your spot.
Packet Pick-Up
Packet pick-up will be held at Fleet Feet Huntsville on Friday from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Please note: There will be no race day packet pick-up.
