Event Details
Date: Saturday, July 11, 2026, starting at 10:00 am
Location: Horse Arena at the Tuscola County Fairgrounds, 188 Park Drive, Caro, MI 48723. (Use Pizza Hut in your GPS for directions).
This event features a 5k walk, 5k run, and 10k run. All proceeds benefit local youth in the equine program and Cass River Pet Friendz.
Packet Pick Up
- Friday, July 10: 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM at the Horse Arena Pavilion
- Saturday, July 11: 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM at the Horse Arena Pavilion
Registration & Pricing
- Early Bird (before June 27th): $30.00 + processing fee (includes t-shirt)
- After June 27th: No guarantee on t-shirt
- Day of Event: $35.00 (Venmo, cash, check only - no t-shirt)
Race Information
- 5k walkers will start a few minutes after the runners and should stay to the right.
- Pups in costume are welcome for the 5k walk and will receive a pup cup.
- Course map available in the photos album.
Awards
- Overall male and female winners for 5k walk, 5k run, and 10k run.
- Overall youth (12 and younger) male and female winners for the 5k run.
- Top 3 male and female finishers in the 5k walk, 5k run, and 10k run.
- Top 3 best dressed pup costumes.
- All finishers receive a medal with lanyard.
