Hoot Lake Triathlon: 30th Anniversary
Join us for the 30th Annual Hoot Lake Triathlon hosted by the YMCA of the Northern Sky. This event aims to provide a great experience for all tri-athletes, promote the sport, and support the LIVESTRONG at the YMCA program in Fergus Falls, MN. The LIVESTRONG program is a 12-week initiative designed to help adult cancer survivors regain strength and connect with others.

Courses and Pricing
- Sprint Triathlon: $80.00 - $100.00
- Sprint Team Relay: $130.00 - $170.00
Registration and Pricing Tiers
- Early Registration (March 2nd - March 31st): $80 Individual | $130 Relay Team
- Regular Registration (April 1st - July 5th): $90 Individual | $150 Relay Team
- Late Registration (July 5th - July 25th): $100 Individual | $170 Relay Team
Note: Late registrants may not receive a race t-shirt. You must register by July 5th to guarantee a t-shirt.
Race Day Schedule
- 6:00 AM - 7:15 AM: Check-in and packet pick-up at Hoot Lake Public Access.
- 7:30 AM: Pre-Race Meeting (Mandatory).
- 8:00 AM: Race Start.
- Awards: Following the last finisher.
Course Information
Swim: 1/4 mile open water swim in Hoot Lake.
Bike: 15.7 miles. Cyclists must observe Minnesota traffic laws. Certified hard-shelled bike helmets are required. Drafting is prohibited.
Run: 3.3 miles.
Awards
Awards will be given to the overall top three finishers in Men, Women, Men's Relay, Women's Relay, and Coed Relay. Age group awards will also be presented for various divisions.
