Holme Moss Fell Race

Details:
This is a challenging category AL fell race suitable only for experienced fell runners. Terrain includes steep trackless moorland, rocky climbs, rivers and several remote areas which require local knowledge and/or navigation skills.
Start location: The race starts ½ mile (10 minutes) from the race venue. Allow time to get there. The sweepers will leave at 11.05 am. No one is allowed to start after this time.
Refunds: No refunds. Places may be transferred to another runner via the provided link.
Support Us: Holme Valley Mountain Rescue Team will be providing safety cover. A raffle will be organised in aid of their funds (£1 per ticket).
The race is organised under the rules of the Fell Runners Association.

Minimum Kit Requirements:
Runners must carry: WATERPROOF full body cover (with a hood attached to the top and the seams must be taped), a hat, gloves, a map suitable for navigating round the route of the Race, a compass suitable for navigating, a whistle and emergency food. You must carry a cup to use at water stations or your own water supply (500ml is recommended). The use of GPS for navigation is prohibited by FRA rules. Kit checks will be conducted on all runners. Failure to meet minimum kit requirements will prevent participation without refund.
