Hero Hustle Sprint Triathlon & Duathlon
The Hero Hustle was created in 2016 as a way to raise money to help support the men and women of the Delaware County fire, ambulance, and law enforcement departments. To date, through the participation of our athletes and the generous contributions of our sponsors, the Hero Hustle has been able to give over $77,000 to the people that are always there to save, serve and protect us.
The Hero Hustle welcomes all athletes of all abilities. The goal is to get active, have a good time, and raise money for a good cause!
Race Details:
- Triathlon: Sprint distance with a 400yd swim, a 16 mile bike ride, and a 5K run.
- Duathlon: Replaces the swim with a one mile run around Schram Pond, followed by the same 16 mile bike ride and 5K.
- Courses: The swim course will be held in Schram Pond. The bike course is on a public highway with rolling hills. The run course is mostly flat with one hill.
- Format: Triathlon can be individual or a 2-3 person team. Duathlon is an individual event.
- Entry Fee Includes: Race entry, race t-shirt, a finisher award, and a timing chip.
