Route information
This popular half marathon race returns, with a variety of distances to choose from. Explore the charming town of Henley, with highlights including Henley Bridge and the Thames towpath.
Half Marathon
A single 13.1-mile heart-shaped loop takes you from Henley Rugby Club. The first 6k takes runners through the town, over the historical Henley Bridge, past the Leander Club, one of the oldest rowing clubs in the world! Looping Remenham Lane, into the countryside, returning along the Thames towpath, you cross Henley Bridge once more to begin the second loop, back through the town centre and out to “heartbreak hill”, the famous mile-long climb seen as a personal challenge by many runners.
Following the descent, it’s a fast and flat run back to the Rugby Club.
