The 31st Hardwick X-Stream

Join us for the 31st running of the Hardwick X-Stream! This off-road cross-country race is perfect for all levels, offering a fun and memorable experience across approximately 6 miles of stunning, undulating Buckinghamshire countryside. The course is exclusively set within Manor House Farm in the charming village of Hardwick.
Featuring unique water crossings and diverse terrain, the Hardwick X-Stream promises a one-of-a-kind adventure. Spots are limited to just 300 runners!
Race Details:
- Race HQ: John Bridles (Village) Hall, Hardwick, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, HP22 4DZ
- Race numbers collection: From 08:30am on the race morning at Race HQ.
- Entries: Limited to 300 runners.
- Minimum age: 17 years old on the day of the race.
- Refunds/Transfers: Not permitted, except if the event is cancelled by the organiser or due to circumstances beyond control.
The Course:
The course is completely off-road, following an undulating route of approximately 6 miles. It includes varied terrain such as grassland, ploughed fields, farm track, streams, and ditches. Be prepared for wet clothing as stream depth can vary. The course will be clearly marked and marshalled, and is suitable for spikes.
Facilities:
- Parking: Weather dependent, available adjacent to the race start/finish. Car sharing is strongly encouraged. Please respect village residents and do not obstruct access.
- Toilets: Portable toilets provided.
- Changing facilities: Limited facilities available in the Hardwick Village Hall.
- Showers: Not available.
Refreshments:
- Water will be available at the race finish.
- Hot drinks and food will be available in the village hall.
Medical Support:
First Aid cover will be provided. Runners are advised to ensure their tetanus inoculation is current. Participation is at the runner’s own risk.
All finishers receive a memento. Prizes are awarded across male and female categories, age groups, and teams.
