Halve Marathon "Rapper Dan Een Ezel" 2026
The 43rd edition of the "Rapper dan een Ezel" Half Marathon and the 12th edition of the "met 4 Rapper dan een Ezel" relay will take place on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 19:30 in Kuurne.
This is an attractive and atmospheric running race of exactly 21.0975 km, on the opening night of the Ezelsfeesten. The course was re-measured in 2023 and is therefore an officially measured distance. Participants will run a short initial loop and then 4 laps of approximately 5 km through the center of Kuurne.
Built on excellent organization with years of tradition, the magical fairground attractions, and the numerous enthusiastic spectators create that extra bit of atmosphere that makes this sports event unique. Wide media coverage, changing rooms with warm showers, and a valuable large prize table ensure satisfied athletes every autumn, supported by a loyal audience. Official VAL race with approximately 700 athletes.

Registration for the Jogging 2/4/6 km can only be done through the Kuurnse Scholen, or in the festival tent from 16:30.
Registration for €15 is possible until 30/09/2024 23:59. After that, the price increases to €20. Late registrations on the day will be €15. After the deadline, only registration at €20 is possible.
