Event Details
Join us for the 2nd Annual Halloween Havoc on a Friday evening at twilight/darkness along the majestic Pioneer Trail in Jennings State Forest. This is a unique trail race where you will run right by Dunn Cemetery, enhanced with glow sticks lining the trail!
This is a 3.75 mile out and back course on a relatively flat terrain, where at the 2 mile mark you will traverse through the historic Dunn Cemetery. Exciting features along the route will add to the Halloween theme for all spooky enthusiasts!
Headlamps are required for all participants and there will be a 1.5 hr cutoff to finish by 8:30pm. We are a cupless race, so each participant will need to carry their own water bottle or hydration pack.
Awards
Awards will be given to the top 3 overall Female and Male, as well as overall Masters (40 and above) and Grandmasters (50 and above). The coveted Slow A$$ award will also be presented for the last finisher! There will also be a best-dressed costume contest and various prizes are awarded. Each participant will receive a custom medal and we will have a post-race party to celebrate!
