Join us for the 2025 Habitat Pittsburgh Youth Triathlon, taking place on July 19 at North Park Pool. This event is designed for young athletes aged 7-15, encouraging participation from all ability levels. Athletes will receive a t-shirt to tie-dye and a medal upon finishing. Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 boy and girl finishers in each age bracket.
Event Details
On race day, athletes should arrive by 7am for check-in and registration. A brief opening ceremony will begin at 7:45am, with the first heat starting at 8am. The race course map will be available at HabitatYouthTri.com.
Course Breakdown
Ages 7-8-9: Swim 50 meters, Bike 1.5 miles, Run 0.5 mile. Ages 10-11-12: Swim 100 meters, Bike 2.4 miles, Run 1 mile. Ages 13-14-15: Swim 400 meters, Bike 7 miles, Run 2 miles.
Pre-Race Meeting
Join us the evening before the event, July 18 at 6:00pm, for a Pre-Race Information meeting at the North Park Pool. This meeting is recommended for first-time participants.
Fundraising Opportunity
Participants are encouraged to fundraise for Habitat Pittsburgh’s affordable homeownership and home repair programs. Top fundraisers will receive a gift card from Pro Bike+Run.
Important Notes
All athletes must wear a helmet and have a bike. Refunds are unavailable, and any canceled registrations will be considered a donation to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh. There will be no rain date if the event is canceled due to inclement weather.
