Grüntenstafette - The "Guardian of the Allgäu" Challenge
The Grüntenstafette is a premier one-day multisport event held annually in Burgberg im Allgäu, Germany, marking the end of the summer sports season in the region. Approximately 1,700 participants, forming six-person teams, will compete against the "Guardian of the Allgäu" by ascending and descending the Grünten mountain.

- Straßenlauf (Road Run)
Teams can register individually or as a pre-formed group. Results from previous years and a waiting list for the 2026 event are available on the official website.
Event Schedule (2026):
Friday
- 17:00–20:00: Bib pick-up at the start area
- 18:00–21:00: Grüntenstafette Pasta Party
- 19:30: Race Briefing
Saturday
- 09:00–11:00: Bib pick-up
- 10:00–12:00: Shuttle service for Mountain and Alpine Run
- 13:00: Start of the Grüntenstafette
- 15:00–17:00: Finish line arrivals
- 18:00: Award Ceremony
- 19:00: Celebration
KINDER-STAFETTE (Kids' Relay)
A special event for younger participants, the Kinder-Stafette takes place around Dattebichl, allowing children to showcase their speed and agility.
