One Mile open water swim at Greenwich Point Park in Old Greenwich, CT

GENERAL INFO: Race start is 7:30am. Check-in opens at 6:30. Water temperature should be around 70 F. Heats will be by age group with colored caps provided. Ample parking and toilets are available on Site . Course will be patrolled by Greenwich Point life guards, and EMS personnel will be available as needed.
Directions: Take I95 to Exit 5, right on Route 1 (East Putnam Ave.), first right on Sound Beach to the end, right on Shore Rd. Metro North/Old Greenwich station about 2 miles from the beach.
T-Shirts are only guaranteed for pre-registered swimmers – we may run out if too many people register on race day ! Swimmers in our wave for those with physical disabilities MUST bring their own “swim buddy”
AWARDS: In each age group, awards to the top 3 overall and at least the top 3 in each age group. Age groups will be 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39 etc. Awards and refreshments will follow the event. Wetsuits allowed, but competitors wearing wetsuits will be ineligible for awards.
