The Green Lakes Endurance Runs offer a challenging trail running experience with varied terrain and stunning scenery. The course features well-maintained single and double track trails, grassy paths, dirt roads, and even some asphalt sections, providing a diverse and 'runnable' trail course.
Each lap of the course is 7.75 miles long, with two ascents and a long descent through the upland forest. The upper meadows, known as the Serengeti, offer rolling and unshaded trails, while the shaded lake trails provide a flat and scenic route.
Racers can expect a quick and technical hike-free course, making it ideal for runners looking to challenge themselves in a beautiful natural setting. The 100K race consists of 8 laps, the 50K race has 4 loops, and the 25K race includes 2 loops.
Participants will receive a race t-shirt, finisher's medal, and other goodies based on their race distance. Podium finishers and age group winners will be recognized, and the race offers ample support with aid stations and course markings.
