The 2025 GrassRoots Backyard Ultra is set to come back for its third installment on June 28, 2025, in Okotoks, Alberta. This event features a 6.71 km course primarily on asphalt pathways along the Sheep River, with a small portion of single track dirt trail.
Event Details
Runners will compete in a Last Person Standing format, with timed events for those looking to achieve personal milestones of 100 km or 100 miles. The course is open and flat, allowing participants to push their limits.

Race Rules
Participants must complete each 6.71 km loop within one hour to continue. No aid is allowed on the course, and headphones are prohibited for safety reasons.
