GOODBYE26 - A New Year's Eve Series Event
The Goodbye New Year's Eve series is in its 12th year, now featuring a new date - December 30th! We wanted to offer runners more options for racing at the year's end. Our goal is to provide a low-cost, no-frills opportunity to gather and run in 2026.
The event will be held at the RARA building, located at 500 East Second St in downtown Rochester. Indoor space will be available to warm up and use the restroom.
Course Details:
- 5K RUN/WALK: A 3.1-mile out-and-back race route on the Clinton River Trail. (If snowy or icy conditions, YakTraks or similar traction are recommended).
Event Features:
- Unique, handmade finisher awards by local artisans (different each year).
- Pizza, hot cocoa, and water provided.
- Famous white elephant prizes for all finishers.
- Your last in-person chance to run in 2026!
Schedule:
- Packet Pick-up begins at 1:30 PM in the RARA building.
- The race starts at 2:30 PM.
