Globus-Theißen-Lauf 2026
The 6th Globus-Theißen-Lauf will take place on June 21, 2026, at the Stadion der Bergarbeiter in Theißen. This event is a collaborative project involving Globus-Theissen, local clubs, residents, and sections of SV Eintracht Theißen 91 e.V.
Races and Distances
A variety of race distances are available:
- Bambini (400m)
- 1.5 km
- 3.0 km
- 7.0 km (Running and Walking)
- 14.0 km
Special races for participants of Special Olympics Sachsen-Anhalt are also included.
Virtual Option
There is also a virtual run option for those who wish to participate remotely.

- 09:00 Uhr: 0.4 km (Bambini)
- 09:15 Uhr: 1.5 km
- 09:30 Uhr: 3.0 km
- 09:30 Uhr: 7.0 km – WALKING
- 10:00 Uhr: 7 km / 14 km
- 10:10 Uhr: 0.4 km – SPECIAL RACE*
Catering and Entertainment
The event will feature a cake buffet, hearty food, and coffee. Proceeds from the food sales will support the youth development of the clubs. Children's entertainment will be provided to keep younger attendees engaged until the award ceremony.
Participation
The Lauf is part of the Rangliste-Burgenland (for adults) and the Wiesen-Grundcup (for children/youth).
