Event Details
Staged out of beautiful General Smallwood State Park, this triathlon features stunning, rolling courses and low traffic roads. The swim takes place in the Mattawoman Bay, a prime example of a fully restored Chesapeake Bay tributary. Following a quick transition, athletes will enjoy a scenic ride along fresh pavement in Charles County, finishing with a picturesque run back into the park.
The event is set for April 26, 2025, with various course options available:
- General Smallwood Olympic Triathlon (Individual) - 1.5K Swim, 24 Mile Bike, 10K Run
- General Smallwood Olympic Aquabike (Individual) - 1.5K Swim, 24 Mile Bike
- General Smallwood Olympic Relay - 1.5K Swim, 24 Mile Bike, 10K Run
- General Smallwood Sprint Triathlon (Individual) - 750m Swim, 16 Mile Bike, 5K Run
- General Smallwood Sprint Aquabike (Individual) - 750m Swim, 16 Mile Bike
- General Smallwood Sprint Relay - 750m Swim, 16 Mile Bike, 5K Run
