Gecko Gathering – Siblyback Lake 2026
Gecko Gathering takes place at Siblyback Lake in Liskeard on 20 June 2026. The event is organised by Purple Gecko Events and includes a set of fixed distances plus an eight-hour endurance option.
Available distances:
- 2.5 km fun run
- 4.8 km standard lap distance
- 9.6 km longer trail distance
- Siblython eight-hour endurance around the 4.8 km lap
The Siblython requires a minimum of three laps to claim the Siblython medal. Partial-lap benchmarks include about 4.4 laps for a half marathon distance and nine laps for a marathon distance. Participants may continue to accumulate laps until the eight-hour period ends.
On-site facilities include camping, an open café, buggy access, personalised bibs, and free race photography. All participants receive a Siblyback Gecko Gathering 2026 medal and there are awards for top finishers in each distance.
The event forms Stage 5 of The PGE 5K & 10k Trail Running Championship Series 2026. Timing is managed via ST App Service and there will be no chip timing. Minimum ages apply: 5 years for the fun run, 8 years for the 5K, 14 years for the 10K, and 18 years for the Siblython; children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
