Freaky Creeky Trail Running Race
Welcome to the Freaky Creeky Trail Race, held at Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park near Vernon, BC. This event is designed by trail runners, for trail runners, prioritizing a challenging, fun, and well-flagged course with excellent aid stations and dedicated volunteers.
Distances Offered:
- Sneaky Creeky Kids Race: 2.5 km
- Green Course: 13 km
- Blue Course: 28 km
- Black Course: 52 km
Each course offers a unique experience through one of the Okanagan’s most scenic natural playgrounds. Expect a mix of flowy singletrack, technical sections, challenging climbs, and fast descents. All routes are meticulously flagged for ease of navigation.
About the Courses:
The 13km, 28km, and 52km distances will test runners with demanding terrain in Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park, known for its stunning views, punchy climbs, and fast-flowing single-track. All races start with a single-track climb offering panoramic views of Kalamalka Lake.
Kids Race (Sneaky Creeky):
The 2.5km Sneaky Creeky race is designed for children aged 0-12, offering a fun and challenging introduction to trail running. It features short climbs and emphasizes participation and enjoyment. Every finisher receives a medallion, buff, and goodie bag. Parent participation is encouraged.
