Forfar 10K
The Forfar 10K takes place on 16 August 2026 in Forfar. The organiser describes the course as accurately measured, flat and scenic and the event uses chip timing. Finishers receive a bespoke medal.
Competitors must be 16 years of age or over on the date of the race. The field is limited to 400 runners and places are allocated on a first come first served basis. The entry deadline is 6:00pm on 31 July 2026 or earlier if the race is full. There will be no entries on the day. Entry fees are £15 for Association of Running Clubs members and £17 for non affiliated entrants. The race is held under ARC rules and has permit number ARC/26/0584. The cut off time for completing the course is 1 hour 45 minutes.
Registration and the start are based at the Forfar Farmington Clubhouse, Forfar DD8 3LD. Runners must collect only their own race number in person and random ID checks will be carried out; transferring numbers may result in a ban from Forfar Road Runners events for one year. As the race takes place on open public roads, only bone conducting headphones are permitted. A route map is available from the organiser. Car parking is available a short distance from the registration and start area at East Greens carpark, Myre carpark and Forfar Reid Hall and car sharing is encouraged.
