Food for Others Tysons 5K & Fun Run
Join us for the Food for Others Tysons 5K & Fun Run on Saturday, September 26th, 2026, at PenFed Plaza, Tysons Corner Center. This event aims to raise awareness about food insecurity in the DMV region, where over 1.2 million people face hunger. Your participation supports vital food programs, especially as demand increases due to inflation and lingering effects of COVID-19.
A unique aspect of this race is the opportunity for participants and volunteers to write inspirational messages for students in our Power Pack Program, which provides weekend meal packs to over 3,900 students weekly.

- Location: PenFed Plaza at Tysons Corner Center (1961 Chain Bridge Rd., Tysons VA)
- 5K Start Time: 8:00 AM
- 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk Start Time: 8:10 AM
- Registration Opens: 7:00 AM
Registration & Pricing:
5K:
- $35 through September 12th
- $40 from September 13th - September 25th
- $45 on race day (September 26th)
1-Mile Fun Run/Walk:
- $30 through September 25th
- $35 on race day (September 26th)
Note: The Fun Run is untimed.
Online registration closes at 7:45 AM on Saturday, September 26th. In-person registration will be available during packet pickup and on race morning.
Packet Pickup & Parking:
Packet Pickup: TBD. Race day pickup & registration begins at 7:00 AM at Tysons Corner Plaza.
Parking: Park in Garage E (connected to Hyatt Regency Tysons Corner Center) on levels 3, 5, or 6. Take the elevator or stairs to level 4 to access the plaza.
Swag & Experience:
Participants receive a commemorative bib and t-shirt (guaranteed if registered before September 12th). Enjoy music from our DJ, food, coffee, and visit our sponsors at the race hub.
Awards & Photos:
Awards: TBD. Free photos will be posted on our site under the results section shortly after the race. Ensure your bib number is visible.
